Hinotori Whisky
Hekinan Distillery, launched its first distillation in 1949 and became quickly a leading producer of Japanese whisky in Chubu area through the 1950’s. After two historic natural disasters in the mid and late 1950s the distillery closed in 1959. After many years dormant we restarted production in 2019. Under the direction of our master sake brewer we built a unique pot still that produces a true expression of Japanese whisky.
