This items listed is for The Dept. 56 Dickens Village Series "A Christmas Carol Reading by Charles Dickens", a Limited Edition, Set of 7, #00888 of #42,500, introduced in 1996, retired in 1997. In its original styrofoam and outer box. These 7 pieces are in mint condition, no chips, scratches, repairs of any kind. They are completely in tact with nothing broken or missing...and from a smoke-free environment.
I have held onto it for all these years because I simply adore it. It's quite the spectacle when all set up. But at this point, I simply have no place to set it up in my little apartment with all the other Dept 56 pieces I have. Such a shame. It really is quite something!
