MEET THE TEAM

BARRY GEOGHEGAN
Owner and Commercial Director

Irish born and based, Barry Geoghegan began in the wine industry in 1989, later obtaining the WSET (Wine & Spirit Education Trust) Diploma in 1995. In further studies, he was one of only 10 people in the world to study for the first ever Wine MBA at Bordeaux Business School in 2001, where he gained a first class honours degree.

He loves to share his learnings and experience, and over the last 15 years has taught many others on the WSET diploma course, as well as training many Duty Free and Travel Retail operator teams around the globe.

His interest in the industry began with his family, whose involvement in the industry for over 50 years has given him additional insight and knowledge, particularly in the Middle East and Asia.

NATHALIE ROELANDS
Sales Manager Europe

Born in The Netherlands and now based in Belgium, Nathalie Roelands completed her studies in Public Relations and Communication Management in Antwerp in 2007. Having spent 6 months living in Reims – where her love for wines and Champagne initially began – Nathalie began working in the Duty Free business with this passion in mind.

Now working for DFG alongside Barry Geoghegan, her role sees her travel extensively to visit many famous vineyards and distilleries, whilst helping DFG’s wines and spirits brand partners reach and exceed their aims in the Duty Free and Travel Retail industry.

KHIMNOY YEO
Sales Manager Asia

Born and bred in Singapore, KhimNoy entered the wine trade in 1997, and has since gone on to develop an extensive passion for wines and spirits. She has taken on diverse roles within the industry, from the setting up of new business units and operations, to regional sales and marketing.

Between 2002-2004, Khimnoy worked as Chairperson for the Singapore Australian Wine Importers Group, working actively to promote the awareness of Australian wines. In 2008, she relocated to Shanghai to join the new wine marketing team for Pernod Ricard China, managing marketing duties for their wine brands.

During her career she has specialised in developing innovative marketing programs and conducting product training for clients and consumers. Khimnoy was also a member of the tasting panel for the Singapore International Wine Challenge in 2000 as well as the China Wine & Spirits Awards in 2014.
